Childrens Ministry
Here at St. Mary we believe that all children are able to come to an understanding of God’s love. The myth that children are too young to understand the Gospel is not a truth that we ascribe to here. We seek to help each child, regardless of age, to come to an understanding of Jesus’ love according to their own level of development. Through consistent catechesis and constant encouragement we believe that children have the capacity to devote themselves to God. The family unit is the most important unit in the church and our ministry to children reinforces that concept and seeks to knit families closer together. The mission of the children’s ministry here is to educate all children to the gospel and to teach them the power of prayer while providing a place of safety.
