RCIA Sponsors, Hospitality Ministers, and Catechists
RCIA Sponsors walk with candidates and catechumens as they explore the Catholic faith from August through the Easter Vigil. By providing love and support, sponsors are crucial to the success of the RCIA process. RCIA Catechists lead Monday night RCIA sessions throughout the year on a scheduled basis. If you possess in-depth training in catechesis on an area of the Catholic faith and are interested in serving as an RCIA catechist, contact Rob Henson at 425-1577 ext. 209.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Held at the 9:30 AM Mass each weekend, Children’s Liturgy of the Word provides an opportunity for young children (ages 4 up to First Communion) to engage with the Word of God on an age-appropriate level through stories and activities. A Catechist and an Assistant lead the sessions each week by preparing lessons that present the week’s Scriptures in an engaging, interactive way. Family Vacation Bible School
Family Vacation Bible School ministers assist with all aspects of the VBS event, including storytelling, designing and leading activities and crafts, and preparing and serving food. For more information or to get involved, contact Adam Willis 425-1577 ext. 209.
Parish Missions
In odd-numbered years, the parish gathers with a professional retreat director for several nights of prayer and reflection. Assistance is needed with publicity, hospitality, and other areas. For more information, contact Cindy Bernardin at 425-1577.
Parish Retreats
Each year, various groups from our parish gather to share their faith and grow together in spirit and community. A short-term commitment for planning and executing these retreats is needed. For more information, contact Rob Henson at 425-1577 ext. 206.
