About Our Logo
Christ -The symbol of Christ extends beyond the confines of the logo.
Arch -The symbol for the arch, is inspired by the arches found in the windows, doors and vaults which make up the Gothic architecture of St. Mary Church.
Mary -The “M”, symbolizes St. Mary, the patron saint of our parish. This repeated and intersecting symbol surrounds and protects the Assembly.
Assembly-Four groups of dots- representing people gathered around a central altar – symbolize the primacy of the assembly.
Apostles-The Apostles are represented by twelve larger dots surrounding and watching over the Assembly from heaven.
Heaven & Earth-The “strata” represents the distinction between heaven and earth. It encases the other design elements of the logo.

Final Composition-The logo is intended to combine all of the above subjects in an aesthetically pleasing manner, while also maintaining a style that complements the historical significance of the building. The final image takes on a stylized flower shape not unlike that of the hallmark of Gothic architecture -the Rose Window.
